This is not a binary choice. We can support BIPOC communities and still have police to respond to crimes and emergencies. We can support equity and demand reform from law enforcement.
We have had enough of the lawlessness and destruction. The city council is ignoring us and we want to have a voice. We do not believe that you can defund the Seattle Police Department by 50% and still protect our community.
